Buyer's Guide: Rules for Shipping and Returning Rolled Metal Products
LOADING
• Loading of metal products is carried out only into open-top vehicles.
• For tarpaulin-covered trucks, the upper part of the body and the side panel on the loading side must be fully opened.
ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS
• Pipe products are accepted based on theoretical or actual weight according to the quality certificate issued by the manufacturer.
METAL CUTTING
• Metal products manufactured or cut according to the Buyer’s specified dimensions are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
RETURN OF GOODS
• Goods may be returned within 14 calendar days subject to prior approval from the Supplier.
• The goods must retain their original marketable condition.
The Buyer shall reimburse the Supplier for expenses related to loading and unloading operations:
15,000 KZT — for returned goods weighing up to 1 (one) ton
7,500 KZT per each ton of returned goods — for goods weighing more than 1 (one) ton
TRANSPORTATION AND SAFETY
• The Buyer must provide a vehicle that meets the requirements for safe cargo transportation.
• The Supplier reserves the right to refuse loading if there is a risk of damage to the goods, the vehicle, or harm to people.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
• In adverse weather conditions, strong winds, or extremely high or low temperatures, loading and service times may be extended.
During the summer period, when the ambient temperature reaches +28°C or above, a special work-rest regime is introduced for employees: 50 minutes of work followed by 10 minutes of mandatory rest.
During the winter period, when the ambient temperature reaches −28°C or below, loading and unloading operations at the outdoor warehouse are temporarily suspended until weather conditions improve.
When wind speed exceeds 11 m/s, loading and unloading operations are temporarily suspended to ensure the safety of employees, customers, vehicles, and cargo.
DELIVERY TERMS
• Payment of this invoice confirms that the Buyer has read, understood, and fully agrees to all delivery, loading, acceptance, return, occupational safety, and workplace safety conditions.
